SCUBA DIVING COURSES
PADI Discover Scuba Diving
A 30 to 45 minute try dive
in the sea under the supervision of a qualified PADI instructor. Prior
to the dive, you will be thoroughly briefed on safety procedures used
during the dive. The price includes the use of all equipment required
for the dive. The total duration of the session is approximately 3
hours. This is ideal for persons who wish to see whether scuba diving
appeals to them without having to commit themselves to a whole course.
A Padi certificate of completion is presented at the end of the session.

PADI
Scuba Diver
With a PADI Scuba Diver certification card, you will be qualified to
dive anywhere in the world under the supervision of a scuba diving
instructor.
The
practical sessions of the PADI course consist of 3 training dives in a
swimming pool and 2 experience dives in the open sea. The academic
sessions of the course consist of 3 video sessions (English, German,
Dutch, Italian, Russian & French versions available) and 3
academic presentations by your instructor on scuba diving. The minimum
duration of the course is 2 full days.
The
price of the course includes:
1. The supervision of a PADI instructor at all times
2. All the diving equipment required to complete the dives
3. The cost of the certification card at the end of the course
4. Personal Buddies dive logbook
5. Road transport from the dive center to the dive sites and back

PADI Open Water Diver
With a PADI
Open Water Diver certification card, you will be qualified to rent
scuba equipment anywhere in the world and dive to maximum depths of 18
meters.
The
practical sessions of the course consist of 5 training dives in a
swimming pool and 4 experience dives in the open sea. The academic
sessions of the course consist of 5 video sessions (English, German,
Dutch, Italian, Russian & French versions available) and 5
academic presentations by your instructor on scuba diving. The minimum
duration of the course is 3 ½ full days.
The
price of the course includes:
1. The supervision of a PADI instructor at all times
2. All the diving equipment required to complete the dives
3. The cost of the certification card at the end of the course

PADI Open Water Diver Referral
Because the
Padi training system is international, it is possible to complete the
Knowledge Development and Confined water training parts of the course
with a Padi dive centre close to where you live, then complete the open
water section of the course in Malta.

open sea. The minimum duration of the course is 2 full days.
The
price of the course includes:
1. The supervision of a PADI instructor at all times

PADI
Adventure Diver
The Adventure Diver course
is a perfect continue-on course following the Open Water Diver course
since it you help you gain valuable dive experience whilst still being
supervised by a PADI instructor. The minimum duration of the course is
1½ full days.
The practical sessions of the course consist of 3 training/experience
dives in the sea. The three dives will be chosen according to your
preferences and your instructor's recommendations. You may wish to
choose from any of the following dives:
1. Boat dive (add an extra EUR 32 to the price of the
course)
2. Multilevel dive
3. Search and recovery dive
4. Peak performance buoyancy
5. Underwater naturalist dive
6. Underwater photography dive (add an extra EUR 23 to the
price of the course)
7. Wreck dive
8. Night dive
9. Enriched air nitrox dive
10. Deep dive
11. Navigation dive
The academic sessions of the course consist of 3 academic presentations
by your instructor on special procedures on the 3 particular types of
dives you will be doing in the practical sessions

Advanced Open Water Diver
With a PADI Adventure
Diver certification card, you will be qualified to rent scuba equipment
anywhere in the world and dive to maximum depths of 30 meters. The
Advanced Open Water Diver course is a perfect continue-on course
following the Open Water Diver or Adventure Diver course since it will
help you gain valuable dive experience whilst still being supervised by
a PADI instructor. The minimum duration of the course is 2 ½
full days.
The practical sessions of the course consist of 5 training/experience
dives in the sea. Two of the dives must be (a) deep dive and (b)
underwater navigation dive. The three other dives will be chosen
according to your preferences and your instructor's recommendations.
You may wish to choose from any of the following dives:
1. Boat dive (add an extra EUR 32 to the price of the
course)
2. Multilevel dive

Scuba Review
If you are a certified
diver, but you have not been diving in quite a while and you wish to
review and brush up your dive theory and diving skills, then the Scuba
Review programme is ideal for you.
The
practical sessions of the PADI course consist of 1 training dive in a
swimming pool and 1 experience dive in the open sea. The academic
session of the course consists of 1 presentation by your instructor on
scuba diving skills, theory and dive tables. The minimum duration of
the course is 1 day.
The

PADI
Rescue Diver
The rescue diver course is
intended for divers who want to expand their knowledge and experience
beyond a purely recreational level. This certification is also required
before one can venture into PADI leadership training (such as Dive
Master, Assistant Instructor or Open Water Scuba Instructor), or as
partial fulfillment to apply for the highest non-professional level of
recreational divers' rating - the Master Scuba Diver. This course is
designed to develop the diver's knowledge and skills in performing
diver rescues, assisting and managing diving-accident situations, and
rendering proper first aid. The minimum duration of the course is 3
full days.
Please
note that to apply for rescue diver training, you must provide proof
that you have followed a first aid and CPR course within the past 2
years. Alternatively you can follow an Emergency First Reponder course
prior to starting the Rescue Diver course.
The
practical sessions of the course consist of 10 dive rescue exercises, 4
open water rescue scenarios and the preparation of an emergency
assistance plan. These rescue exercises include:
1. Assistance while swimming
2. Panicked diver response and underwater problems
3. In-water artificial respiration
4. First aid procedures for pressure related accidents
5. Diving accident scenarios
The
academic sessions consist of 5 presentations and video sessions
(English version only) and a final exam on dive rescue and diving first
aid as well as emergency management and equipment considerations.
The

Propulsion Vehicle Diver

FIRST

Emergency
First Response - Optional Modules
- Automated
External Defibrillator Use: In this highly recommended
optional module, you will practice using an AED and how to assist a
patient who has been successfully defibrillated using an AED.
- Emergency
Oxygen Use: In this optional module you will learn to
administer emergency oxygen to a patient with a serious or life
