Buddies Dive Cove
If you are looking for dive centres in Malta look no further than Buddies Dive Cove. We are a Padi 5 star IDC Dive Centre (S-3792) set up in 1999 by two Padi diving instructors with years of local diving experience - Rupert and Audrey, who is also our resident Padi course director. The team of dive instructors who work with us are recruited to reflect Buddies Dive Cove's philosophy of diver safety, service and local experience. This is just one aspect of what makes Buddies Dive Cove the very best of the top dive schools in Malta.

Our air conditioned dive center has been carefully and strategically chosen and designed for divers to have access to the best dive sites of all three islands at reasonable cost. The dive center is open 7 days a week, all year round. We are located in the centre of the popular town of Bugibba on the North East coast of Malta, just 100m from the main square. From this location we have access to a shallow bay with varied bottom composition (sand, reef & posedonia) that is ideally suited for novice diver training. The island of Comino, another popular dive destination with both novice and experienced divers, is only within 20 minutes from the dive center.

PADI Scuba Diving Courses
We run a number of introductory, advanced and specialty Padi courses all year round. The courses are scheduled with the participants of the course so that the days and times set up are convenient for everyone. Guided Dives
For qualified divers who wish to have a dive guide escort them on local dives and take care of the logistics of the dives, we run 2 tank dives(morning) as well as single tank (morning / afternoon) dives. Divers from all training agencies and certification levels are welcome. You may choose between shore and boat dives that go out daily. Organised Dives
Divers who wish to dive in a group in Malta and Gozo without being guided underwater by one of our instructors must be qualified to PADI Advanced Open Water or similar. Organised diving is mainly designed for groups of divers travelling together. Diving Equipment including Nitrox
Buddies Dive Cove - Malta is fully equipped with the latest diving equipment available on the market including Dive Propulsion Vehicles for hire. We are one of the few dive centers in Malta and Gozo able to fill air to 300 bar as well as supply Nitrox and Trimix qualified divers with Nitrox fills (28% to 100%) and Trimix fills on site. The Aqualung / Technisub / Spiro / Seaquest diving equipment used for rental are regularly maintained and serviced in-house. We also run a fully stocked dive equipment retail department.

Transport for shore and boat dives
We use two airconditioned dive trucks and a minibus to transport divers and equipment to the dive site of the day and back to the dive center. We also offer free transport to the dive center from anywhere in Malta so long as the divers are following a course with us or are diving twice daily with us. We also charter a number of different dive boats depending on our destination. You can dive off a traditional Maltese fishing boat — the Luzzu — or from fast boats skippered by experienced captains.
